Hi, so I am cleaning out my car, the carpet and everything, and I find these two plugs from under the driver's seat. One was coming from under the seat, and the other was from the floor of the car. Can somebody tell me what they are? I have a 1998 Legacy. Here's some pictures:

Looks like someone swapped the seats because they're supposed to connect, or it could be the heated seat wire.

not necessarily, my car has this too and it didn't have heated seats, i think it may be for the seat belt light, but im not positive

I do have both the plug from under the seat, and from the car floor. I got the car with it unplugged, I plugged it in, and didn't seem to do anything. I don't have heated seats. Would they include the wire from under the seat even though it didn't have heated seats?

that may be it too, our cars were prewired for tweeters, plug and play

i never thought of what it could be, i found mine sheared off when i did my wrx seat swap

That plug is most definitely for the seat belt light.
the plug for the tweeters are behind the door panels.

That plug on goes into the seat belt buckle. For the little light and chime that goes off until you buckle in. The connectors for the heated seat wiring is blue in color.

I had disconnected my driver's seat-belt chime so loud when the speed reaches 15km/h without seat-belt on.
