Come august I might be up from a promotion that would involve, me moving to federal way, wa. i have read about the area also talk to people in the company daily about it, however wanted to see who was from the area on here and can shed some more light for me.

Im from maple valley, about 20 mins from fed way. I comunte to fed way every mon wedd and fri. its a nice place, although just like anywhere else it has its good areas and bad areas. if you are looking to go to seattle it is a really easy drive, just get on I 5 and go north.
what else do you want to know?

Well I work for alaska USA. in there mortgage depth now I'm thinking of moving there to originate. By what I see it rains a lot but isn't that cold, please as reason put it I knew a lot if people were here from wa and wanted to kinda get a no bull what Its really like answer lol

i don't know about that man, E.WA is usually hotter in my experience. the winter is just a lot more harsh on the east side.
Federal Way is a nice area and is relatively close to both the city and the mountains. expect lots of rain fall-spring but it would still be a great place to live. cons are that it is a very liberal side of the state (ex. tax on soda) and cities aren't really sure what to do when it snows and roads get pretty bad, so thank goodness you drive a subaru!

kinda off topic: i visited Seattle last weekend, and really enjoyed the city! i like it more than Portland, hands down.

seattle vs portland, hands down seattle is better. anyone who has been there will tell you. seattle has so much more to do in an activity stand point. But not sayin portland isnt nice, they have much better train system and... well not sure what else is better lol. let me know if im wrong

Haha, I'm from Chicago and living here in Ak has opened me up to sushi and orential food more, but I live my tried and trues lol
