Hey guys,
I am an old Subaru newb from NY. I had a Subaru RX about ten years ago, and have been part of Long Island Subaru Club for the past three, even though I had a DSM, Galant VR4, and a 240SX, but I have since rectified that situation by picking up a 97 Legacy Outback Wagon. It was an exhausting search, since OBWs with a 5 speed tranny are few and far between. I found this one, and got a great deal on it for a relatively low mileage (85K) car.
It does have a few cosmetic issues, as well as an issue that has been confounding me since I purchased it.
