Weight of snowflakes

Does anybody know? Thinking about buying some 16in bbs rims that come out to 12ish lbs. Just want to know if it will be worth it.

12 lbs is ridiculously light for a set of 16s. They would be significantly light than the snowflakes.

i weight them with a bathroom scale a while back at 24lbs. not sure how accurate it is at low weight. probally more around ~20lbs

Wow!! 2 grand for those. They are nice and all, but you could probably get a good price on wheels that are lighter than that, and cheaper.

Yeah I am hoping to find a used pair. But if I can find a cheaper set then I will. I haven't found anything cheaper that is similar weight or lighter yet.

ETA: at least that look good too. Those are nice. They are a little lighter and are a larger wheel than stock, so it is still a nice upgrade.

I looked at those to, way to much for me but 12.4lbs is a huge change you will be happy. If stockers are 20lbs thats a total of 32lbs of unsprung and rotating weight off your car.

I wanna know how much 05 LGT, 02-05 WRX, RS goldies and RS silver 6 spoke rims weigh. Anyone know?

As far as the weight of the rims you are interested in I think I saw 15.X lbs somewhere on this site for the 02-05 WRX

How did you weigh them? Thats pretty light if thats true. Did you weigh more than one?

Keep in mind that the snow flakes are only 6.5" wide, so they are pretty small.

04 STI BBS wheels are around 17# I believe, and they can be had for WAY less than $2k. I paid 700 for mine.

Yes without tires. Well I was looking at 16x7" rims on tire rack and most were 17-20lbs but if snowflakes are only 17.8 il just get another set of them.

I wanna know how much 2.5RS and WRX 16's weigh.

1st gen 2.5RS 6-spokes weigh 16.5 pounds.
WRX 16x6.5" 5-spokes (like those on the bugeye) are 16.7 pounds.
