I recently purchased a Delphi Skyfi2 and I can't stop talking about it. I love it. I get great music, great talk, trafic, weather, and some channels are uncensored so I can listen to the music as it was written.
Here in the south we have the monsters of the morning (used to be monsters of the midday) they started on real radio 104.1 in Orlando (still are) and can also be found on XM channel 152 on the AM in the east. There is also Opie and anthony on XM 202.
Once you sign up for an XM subscription you get the online music service for free. Which is nice because I listen to it in the bedroom and on my shop computer too.
Anybody else have XM? Sirius?

With that online music service....can you download music? (I'm assuming not, unless you're crafty or something). And also, is it just like choosing a radio station, or do you get to pick songs or bands, or w/e and listen selectively? Cause it'd be worth it if I could. satelitte radio is pimp

the on-line and on-air music is like having an awesome radio station that seems to play what you like and there are no commercials (excpet for ones advertising other XM channels) and no crappy DJ's running their mouths too much.
The on-line service doesn't give you all the channels that you get with the on-air service but they give you a few you don't get on-air. If you get the on0air service the on-line is free. To my knowledge you can not record the audio unless you are  . I don;t think you would really want to as the quality is not that of a CD. I have a T1 and it still isn't that great. If you go to www.listen.xmradio.com (http://www.listen.xmradio.com) you can get a free 3 day trial.
If you buy an XM unit from a retail store you get another free of charge when you sign up for 3 months of service. Then you can give it as a gift, keep it in your home...sell it on ebay.
I love my XM and don't think I will ever go back to FM. I have the Skyfi2 with the car kit. It has a remote and a TiVo like feature.

2deadlegs i was thinkin of getting sirius. i talked tothe guys at tweeter and they told me that sirius had better songs, like he said xm played 4 songs from the same artist, then 4 more songs from a different artist. he said on sirius he barely heard the same song more than once. Plus, i listen to howard stern so he is going to sirius.
