so i decided that i really didnt want to keep my GT grille stock so i decided to make some custom alterations and make it look a lot better.

things you will need:
-your GT grille
-some sort of cutting power tool.
-sand paper
-paint
-paint thinner
-jb weld(or some type of very strong adhesive)

first step:
-cut the inners out, very carefully to not cut or break the chrome trim

second step:
-take the center cut piece in this shape and sand the edges to your liking, and wipe down with paint thinner to prep for black paint
-pop the center piece out

third step:
-take the center piece, and remove the adhesive that is on the back
-sand the rest of it down(be careful you dont sand down in the inlets of the stars, the silver will be messed up. only sand down the gunmetal part.

fourth step:
-paint color of your desire

fifth step:

How important is it to cut the very center piece out? (the part with the emblem)
Could you just leave it in and cut the pieces on the left and right side out and then sand it down to make it smooth?

BTW it looks great!

I like the red cause it is going to go with my black/red theme, but is there a way to sand out the chrome and paint that black? I think that would look sweet!

Nevermind I see if you sand out the grey then you can paint the stars.
