Boricuajr 1998 Legacy GT Limited Project

A few weeks ago I purchased a 98 Legacy GT
A steal at 500 if you ask me, needed what I consider minor work
to the seller it was major, the biggest issue with this 196k LGT
was that it needed an exhaust and Subaru wanted to charge her 700+
for a new exhaust. So she gave up and bought a focus and I bought this
beauty.. I knew there was potential under all that dirt and grime......
The interior was filthy. full of stains and dog hair everywhere! had a lil musky smell,
and the exterior while complete free of rust and any major dents it seamed like the car never saw a wash....
So Im starting this thread to have a log\update as my progress goes.... It was mainly purchased
for my sister however the more things I see can be done to it I just may use it for my DD... lol
My sister has yet to get her License, but once she does Ill hand over the keys

OH SNAP! Nice job with the cleanup, and dying the carpet? Fantastic. Does the dye come off on anything, or is it pretty much set once you've let it soak in and dry.

Great job on cleaning 'er up - looks like new. Honestly. Great job!

thanks guys. yes everyone works around my house theres no watchers allowed lol

Soren, the dye was awesome! its was soooo nasty before,
as of right now. after spraying all the coats in. I then washed it again and wet vacc'd to
remove any loose dye that did not soak into the fabric.
dry is great. no looseness. at this moment. when its moist. there just a little dye left.
but for that I have Floor mats. so that when it rains. the shoes are not touching the carpet directly

Hard to capture the color, due to incorrect lighting
and lack of Photography Skills
Overall Im Happy with the result
better than the dull grey, or in my aspect Brown color stained carpet lol

They are 6000K HID's

what did you use to black out the dash? I have the ugly brownish tan interior and doesn't go well with my black and blue wrx seats,lol
I'm curious to see how well that holds up on the door panels.

dash was originally black, i just cleaned it and polished it..whats painted is the headliner visor O S**t handles
wood grain trim and carpet and mats....
so far its holding up very well
