Hi, my name is Andres and I'm from Santiago, Chile.
My last cars were a Toyota Starlet Glanza V and then a brand new Suzuki Swift that was stolen. :(
Now when the insurance give me my money back I want to buy a BE5 Legacy...
The problem is that we don't have turbo models over here... just USDM 2.5GT and "CLDM" 2.0GT (Looks like the JDM version but with a EJ20 SOHC engine in it).
I'm looking for a 2.0 version and today found a "D" 2002 BE5 2.0 MT (The instrument cluster is not blacked out but says D in the model code)... but I want to know what do I need to make a WRX or STI swap in it and what are the possibilities to build a fun car (What model is better to buy and easier to swap, etc). I've got an E-Manage Ultimate laying arround that was for my Glanza that could help.

Nice forum and very usefull info... congrats!

PD: Sorry for my english. :P

Thanks for the welcome!

I hope you can help me to find out what is the best year of BE5 to buy to make the WRX-STI swap... I've found very helpfull info using the search but any tip is very welcome. :)
I hope I can start my build soon to post it in the forum.

nwsubie: Coquimbo is a very nice place to the north and a very nice place to go at holidays... Have you come to Chile?
