What ecu pin is the parking switch? ecu is a 99 LGT. The ecu pinout on here does not have it for some reason.

This ecu post says pins 78-79 are supposed to be empty, but I have wires in those pins. Could that be it?

Are are talking about the P position switch on an automatic transmission car? That would go to the shift lock control module or TCU...

Yes, but the fsm wiring diagram shows those pins (79) Blue and (78) White/Red going to the Tcu and does not tell where is goes in from the tcu. The pinout shows all the pins but those two. I just need the P position switch pin and I am done with the wiring for my swap.

This one shows that 79 Blue is tcs, but what is 78?

You already answered it yourself, it goes to the TCU. What exactly are you trying to do? If you're trying to wire up your P position switch I already told you according to the FSM it has nothing to do with the ECU.

Ok so I need to splice the harness coming from the ecu to tie into the svx harness. I am going to have to call my guy again about the swap. I thought he said it comes from the ecu just like the (N) neutral switch. I already have the pin for the svx harness, but do not have the pin for the legacy harness.

Anyone?? I have a local subaru shop that was supposed to print me out a ecu pinout today, but never got back to me. A buddy of mine said it is supposed to be in the FSM, but I could not find it!

It's in the FSM, and it doesn't have to do with the ECU at all. This may differ from the SVX. What are you doing here, an EG33 swap? Are you wiring up the SVX ECU?

I got info from a local subie shop and found that I can tie the neutral and park switches together coming from the ecu. This guy has seen the swap before and only a minute away! Now I can bug him when I want. Thanks for the info jey it seems you were right.
