Today I was back in the woods with the Legacy. I parked it on one of the trails where a tree fell down in front and just sat there for a bit. A cop pulls up behind me and starts walking to my car. I got out and walked up to him wondering why he came after me.

Apparently I was on "private" property and was called in by someone who didnt even own the property. After telling him that there are no signs stating that it was private or not to trespass he let me go. The trails are bumpy and have random ditches that if your not careful and dont swerve constantly, youll bottom out which amazed me that the cop brought his ford escort instead of the station Broncos or Cherokees.

And I learned my lesson...next time I see a cop approaching me on the trails I'm just gonna attempt to drive off and maybe get the cop lost in the woods :grin:

lol...no but he did ask if it was my property...i should have asked if it was his and tell him that he was trespassing too

ive lost cops on dirt bump roads before.. plus if the area is not posted w/ signatures and the property owner didnt report a trespassing. there nothing the cop could do about it, but tell you, you shouldnt be on the property.

he thought we were drinking or doing drugs but he knew he wasn't able to search the car, also i have 5% tint on the rear so he couldnt see in anyway

i bet you guys were drinking :D but yea i love my 5 percent tint..... useful if im carrying 3 pasengers (only allowed 1 still got the restriction) they can just climb in the back and pull my cargo cover over the cargo area muhahaha 0_0
