well im guess im going to start one of these. My father inlaw gave me my 96 outback wagon last year so i would have a car to fit the kids in( its a pain in the ass to fit an 8 year old and a 3 year old and my wife in an 88 civic hatch) and i thank him for every time i talk to him now. i have just recently started doing things to the car, other than maintenence. but here she is. many, many more things to come. I'm nickel and diming this car right now.
here are a list of mods to date.
magnaflow universal muffler.
tinted tails with candy transparent model paint.
lowered on 03 wrx tein stechs.
07 wrx 17 in wheels.
03 wrx carbon fiber hood scoop.
painted the roof black( waiting for the funds to replace some body panels)
i think thats about it for now.

so ive got a busy few weeks ahaed of me.
im hoping to have it all done by import faceoff in sept. wish me luck.

so last night i picked up another 96 outback for parts. heres a pic of the parts car. ill be swapping parts over this weekend. Ill have more pics than.

Got the panels swapped over. Going to try and start pulling the motor tomorrow. I also picked up some GT sideskirts and a GT hood for 30 bucks. Hope to have those on soon.

i still think it'll look cool with the gunmetal colored trim part on the bottom painted to match your roof

no not functional(yet), thats the look im going for, but with black. the sandstone just wouldnt look right

Looking good, I really like the blacked out roof. So did you just use lowering springs from a wrx or both shocks and springs from a wrx?

the springs are from a wrx the struts are for a legacy

Not alot of progress lately as i was laid off from my job. Im hoping to have the paint and body work done by july though when i head to colorado again. Of course now that i do have all this free time i could swap over body panels and pull the motor from the parts car.

Two weeks ago i had a lady pull out in front of me. SOOO with the 2000 bucks from insurance company, paint and body work finally begin tomorrow. I can start updating this more. Here are the pics of the damage.

So you used legacy struts, WRX springs, and legacy top hats? Looks great.

Thats exactly what i used. Thanks and also coilovers coming soon. Ill get some pics up of the progress so far.
