First thread on this great forum.
Mr Evolution/George's 2004 Legacy L Wagon 5spd
This is a daily driver and will build it as such. I already have a weekend warrior for track and highway fun.
Generic Pic, I haven't really taken any good pics of the care yet, will do so after finals are over. (Mod: Please don't delete)

Exterior:
HID Hi/Lo
HID Fog
Engine:
Stock
Suspension:
GT front Caliper/Disc
SS Lines
Interior:
McIntosh Audio (3.0R VDC) full install
Future plans:
1- Find a set of stock 16" x 6.5 Mesh style wheels, I have a set but with winter tires mounted
2- Get a set of BC Racing BR Coilovers with Swift asst. springs. (Want the height adjustability) - Changed to Bilstein for stock height.
3- Front lip (No Longer want it)
Update 5/1/10:
Tried out the '04 GD Seats
I sold them after an hour of using them. I am 6'4" and they raised the driver and Passenger seat by a significant amount. I wasn't able to sit straight anymore, defeating the purpose of the side bolsters. Also, the side bolster are wider and not a snug fit for anyone with waist size < 34, too much side to side. Gonna try to find '06 CT9A Recaro or maybe something more low key. Its a daily driver and the twist to recline is not the best if you want to recline fast.

Update 5/7/10:
Front Brake Swap on the Daily Driver. I needed brakes and the front retaining bolt sheered and needed to buy a new bracket anyways, so no cost to upgrade into the GT setup.
FYI: I changed the paint scheme on the calipers, this is the old version, will try to get an updated pic over summer when I switch back to summer tires and wheels.
Specs:
From
L:10.7" vented front disc, dual caliper piston
To
GT: 11.4" vented front disc, dual caliper piston
SS Brakes lines
New Brake Fluid
Bendix CT-3 Pads (Daily Driver) - not too aggressive, low dust

Update 1/31/2012: Happy Chinese New Years!!
Finally the suspension pooped out and ordered a set of Bilsteins B6 Legacy GT suspension for all four corners.
Installation time for the rears were about 1.5hrs with the help of the video from briansmobile1 (http://www.youtube.com/user/briansmobile1?blend=1&ob=0) subscribe to him, he really helps the DIY community.
Installation time for the fronts took a little longer at 2.5, because the 19mm bolts that held the strut bottom were over torque and it was a PITA to finally get it loose by ways of a cheater bar.
I used the Autozone Coil Spring compressors to do the swap and it was pretty easy as long as you remember to grease the threads of the tool before use.
Also if you plan on doing this yourself make sure to have a long crow bar, at least 30"+ to leverage the front and rear arms downs.
They ride great and firmed up the car. The steering , engine, and braking response is some much quicker. There is much more NVH in the car and bumps aren't as smooth as the stock suspension, but I reused the stock spring and it still a comfortable ride. The new suspension will let you know if there are any loose interior panels. hahaha
Also, did a full fluid change, rear diff, transfer case, PS, trans, and oil. So glad that NYS law requires service station to take used oils.
