BE rear end ideas

Hey guys, just playing with some ideas for the rear end of my BE. Not sure if I would ever do it, but wanted to toss it out there. I've seen just the very center section painted body color, but what about taking the entire trunk part of the lights off, having a body shop smooth out the trunk, and rewiring a set of JDM outers to work with all the lights? Here's a quick and dirty Paint chop of what I'm thinking. Thoughts?

The rear end looks good as it is. No need to change that:P
Tough to help your idea, you need to put your back up light in the L/R indicator spot. and find a way to wire in one or two 21w bulbs for the fogs.

Ya, I'm actually not dis-satisfied at all with the looks, I'm just always kicking ideas around

I thought it was an old Lancer (Evo 5/6 vintage) rear end. I like the stock look of the BEs.

Stock looks good, JDM/EDM even better:P
Im currently wiring it so that the foglights wil act like brake, fog and taillights.

that would be pretty ugly imo, sides are too small to pull that off
