EJ20E 1994 non-interference?

I have a 1994 Legacy TX with a EJ20E engine. The Wikipedia page on the EJ engines states that up to 1996 these engines were non-interference. Can anyone confirm this??

I'm not familiar with the EJ20E engine, but the EJ20G (1989-?) was interference. Most likely if you have SOHC heads, and a pre-1996 it's a non-interferance.
