Legacy gt hood

just wondering if anyone has retrofitted a wrx/sti hood scoop to a second gen legacy gt hood? what are your thoughts on this, pictures?

no, the molding for the scoop it has on there is in the way, its been done a bunch of flat 'L' model hoods

ya ive seen the modded first gen but for second i was wondering if it would be possible

it is possible..on a second gen legacy L hood because it was flat and scoopless

it isnt possible on second gen Legacy GT hoods because of the raised bump in the middle of the hood for the existing hood scoop

has anyone done it or is it just a crazy idea? how would you work around the hood frame?

Maybe go give a looksey over at MATTY to hotties cars hes got a scoop added into his hood. iam not sure if he had pictures or a walk threw for how he did it.
Theres also a thread floating around for VK inovations (vendor) he was making some scooped hoods out of carbon fiber for a few guys.(never sure if they ever got them though).

^they were made from L-FLAT hoods too, not the scooped-GT hoods
