Installing GT Sideskirts and Rear Lip on an L..?

last night i picked up some GT sideskirts and a rear bumper lip + all the clips and such for $50, when i got home i did a quick test fit and got all sorts of confused..

i had always thought the rear lip and sideskirts came off the L and the GT stuff easily replaced them but i found out that the L stuff is all part of the bumper and fenders? i didnt see a way to get them off,

it looked like the gt sides popped right over the existing piece, maybe i'll have to drill some holes to mount it? what is the plastic L shaped piece that is by itself? where does that go?

also, the rear lip, doesn't seem to fit at all on the L's rear bumper, the existing lip thing gets in the way so it wont just pop over it(besides right behind the wheel well), also it doesn't look like the mounting holes line up at all to the bolts underneath..

any insight on installing these tomorrow?

What I did for the rear skirt install, I held up one side and Onkin held up the other side. I drilled all the holes that didnt line up on my side, he did the same for his side. Put the lip down, popped in all the "clips" into the hole, put the lip back up and put in all the screws. Not sure how the side skirts will go on, you may have to do the same thing. I have aftermarket side skirts and they mount a little different than the GT skirts.

Yea the sedan skirt wont work on the back, the sides will. The GT have holes with clips in them so the tabs on the side skits pop in, then theres 2-3 screws on the end where mud flaps would mount to.

yeah i was looking at the skirts and marked out the holes on the bottom to mount with self tapping screws, i think instead of drilling the hell out of the car i'll use some super strong adhesive to keep the sides on

Screw in the ends at the mounting points and use strong double sided tape all in the middle.

Is there another way to mount side skirts without drilling into the rockers?
