I got my redline shift boot on saturday. it made a huge difference.


Here is the new shift boot with the old. I'll post a pic of it installed tomorrow.

lol, it's actually very tight in there. I am going to hold off on it for a while (ie engine swap) cause I would need a new boot. this will never be a huge performer.

ok, pics fixed. in a few weeks I'll be able to get most of my parts installed and some new pics and hopefully a sound clip will be along.

Soon to come is a twistedautoworks custom front bumper and a paint job with a few extra visual changes.

That is a good idea. How much does that cost or how do you do it? Just grind/scrape rust then spray the underbody?

Well the bottom of my car is rust free. you can get under coating in parts stores or only for not that much. then just spray it on I guess.

The rust I need to take care of is around my front window, rear quarter panels, and trunk.

Yes. Need to get a decent video of it. There are plenty of crappy examples out there of my exhaust. I have a friend with some recording equipment and another with access to some high quality video equipment.

New direction for my BD going to make it an off road beast, bed liner, mudrat front and rear bumper, spare tire well delete, run a roof rack and a snorkle. strip and waterproof the interior/ecu Hellas, full black out and maybe even a new exhaust (straight pipe). Probably keep my engine stock.


going to use the money i save to buy Saab and have that as my summer/vip project

i have a theory about this car just like mine i have rust too on my bd and now additional body damage but the car is paid off and now has a swapped engine but with upkeep and additional love a great car is still able to be born
