What's up?
I'm Geoff from Burlington, VT.
Just found this site not too long ago, and I like the attitude. Everyone seems laid back and open and i'm glad I found a cool place to learn about my car.
I have a 93 Leg 5 spd turbo sedan; all black with 16" wrx wheels.
This is my first subaru and I love it!
But it's givin me headaches right now.. :x
Good to be here!

Welcoeme to the site. Your Legacy sounds very nice... I would love to have one of the turbo cars. Have any pictures of it?

Welcome Geoff!

Funnily enough, I have a friend back home in NZ who is also Geoff, and rallies his 93 Legacy turbo... he actually has two. One for parts, one to race.
His commuter is a Suzuki hatchback.

I'm replacing the gas tank (i just found one a couple of days ago)
And pretty much from the headers back i need to do.
...it's got some issues.
This weekend i'm doing the tie rods which I just got in the mail yesterday, and the FR wheel bearing is shot :?

Damn, that's a lot of stuff to do for a car you love!

I'd hate a car if I had to do that much work on it!

Yeah, it sucks right now. The exhaust system could wait, it's mostly the cat (rusted out flanges between cat and downpipe; starting to get noisy..).
But I love the car and when it's done it will be worth the effort.
As far as the engine and transmission go, it's fine. It waists no oil, starts in sub zero temps every time, and shifts fine. And the body is in great shape (believe it or not, it's the original paint).

I had that problem before.

High flow cat solved it :D
