Has anyone tried this on their car here in the states???
They have a BE/BH option on the pull down menus.

I was thinking to do this, it would really make the rear look hot

I would also like to know if this will fit the BE USDM Legacy... Hopefully someone can give us input on this.

Save your cash, the rear bar won't fit. The trunk is about 2 inches longer in the legacy so it won't even line up with the rear diffuser properly.

Also, been there done that. :p

Is this true even though on japanparts it says that you can buy a BE/BH specific rear diffuser and cusco bar? If it is BE/BH specific it should all line up correctly right, or at least one would assume? And thanks for the response and the link to your diffuser thread.

well hey, you can go ahead and spend the few hundred and see. All they show there are pics of the cusco bar for the GC8/GD chassis with the Macpherson strut. Even the GR multi-link rear is different enough from the BE that that won't interchange easily. Moreover, if youre using an 06 sti rear diffuser, you can't fit it over the BE/BH rear swaybar unless you do some cutting like I did, then there's that issue of the bumper bracket (again, won't work unless you modify it like I did), unless you want your diffuser to just flop around in the wind on one end...

But hey, like I said if you want to chance it then by all means.

Well thanks again for all the info. Just curious, was this ever even an option for the BE/BH Legacy in Japan? And yours looks super clean anyways and modifying is now straightforward thanks to your write-up.
