ok, I'm very new to trying to troubleshoot my car, so easier answers are always better. I had the engine code for my knock sensor, and just got it replaced. Now my check engine light is on for the MAP sensor. Is there an easy way to check and see if it's a quick fix, caused by something done when they replaced to knock sensor? I read somewhere that you can buy a cleaner and use it, that the code could be caused by excess oil being used recently near the part.

Does your car have a MAF sensor in the intake ducting? If so, check the hose to the MAP sensor on the passenger side strut tower and make sure it isn't disconnected anywhere. It should go from the intake manifold, to a solenoid, then to the sensor. Make sure it is connected everywhere and the hose isn't pinched or broken.
