Just thought I'd introduce myself, I just acquired a 1992 Legacy Turbo (autotragic) this weekend. I've owned a 91 Loyale before that but needed something a little more fun. Plans for this year before winter include 5spd swap and engine fixer upper. This will be my winter/rally car.

Only picture i've taken so far

Would someone be able to mention what transmissions are a direct swap, and which ones may be recommended? I'm still reading around on many forums and finding new things. Going to take awhile to get up to speed haha.

BBS.legacycentral.org is a 90-94 only legacy website, and is a sister site to SL-I.

yep ej22t.

323,000km, like i said automatic. My friend convinced me of a better route to go then rebuilding the engine hehehehe. It involves ej20 goodness.

Oh SNAP.

Well if you do lose the 22... let me know. I'm casually in the market for an EJ22 closed deck, but live on the wrong side of the world...
