Got a fender mounted CAI? all years welcome. BD's preferred

I'd love to see some setups for a CAI especially fender mounted. I am contemplating just holding off on a hood scoop cai until a BD specific box is made. I want to see how people set it up to protect the filter from debris and water.


I know there is an intake thread. Just takes longer to get replies and this is more specific as I want CAI setups only.

-I have the injen cone filter in the fender well without a hydroshield and havent had any issues. The area inside the fender well is fairly well protected. It still gets lots of dust and dirt in there though. I clean mine every 5k.

My question is where do I get the rubber sections that I see on your alls intake setups generally around the MAF?

DO i need them? Can u just run a full metal setup?

You need an maf adapter plate which comes with most aftermarket setups (injen, cobb, weapon, etc) Cosmo racing sells it on ebay though I think. The rubber couplers you can buy at most performance parts stores.
