Ok folks, I'm getting a 2010 Legacy. The ONLY thing that I want the Premium for over the base is for the wheels. The dealership is adamant that the only way you can get alloys is to buy them separately or upgrade the trim model, and personally, an extra $2500 for electronic seats and alloy wheels is absurd.

SO, I picked out these guys here. Give me some honest opinions!

I'd say go a size or two up and it will look better

then just hold off until you need your first set of tires.

Valid point, except driving a car with steels and hubcaps for 3 years would drive me completely INSANE.

I'm OK with sticking with 16"s...Just look for opinions on color and design.

After looking through tire rack where you got the image from I'd say those are your best option for 16's

Oh and 3 years? I wish mine would last me that long. With my Saab I was averaging about 6 months for the fronts. I will see about my Leggy.

Dear lord! 6 months? Not to get into a topic of tire care, but you gotta rotate those bad boys every so often!

On my old legacy that I just sold, i put a new set of GY TripleTreads right after I bought it in late 2007 and when I sold it a couple weeks ago they still had around 7 or 8/32 on them. Granted those are NOT performance tires and are guaranteed to 100k miles, but still.. Even when I autocrossed my tires would last around 50k or more.

Lol well I only had them for 6k miles. I was really constantly hard on them. lots of empty back roads where I lived. Always pushing to the limit.

I was pretty stupid back then too.

autocross is VERY good at killing tires

For 16" don't forget OEM takeoffs from any other Subaru will work. Probably much cheaper and more reliable than aftermarket...

Those wheels look great on the car. Colors match really well. Where are you getting them from?

The wheels look fine, it's a shame that the 2010 Legacy looks like ass. Get a second hand '09 model, and spend the difference on new mags

Not a big fan of black wheels. Might as well just run steelies if you want that color.

With the lower profile tire on the aftermarket wheels, visually, it'll make the car like like it's lifted. Even a 17" wheel wouldn't do the car justice thanks to the wide body style fenders.
Although, I would also agree, it would be better than driving around with steel wheels.

f*** you all, i love black wheels, thats why i just bought them^

Those wheels you picked look great, losdios. I would say get them a bit larger but I hear you about not wanting to buy new tires as well.

The black wheels looks good on the car, plus the 2010's need all the aesthetic help they can get.
