Custom headlight fabrication.

I am looking at seeing if I can get a company to make me some BD headlights simular to this.

I want to know how many people would be interested in a pair simular to this. If we can do a group buy they shouldn't be too expensive.

I defiantly want them to come HID ready and to hopefully come out cheaper then JDM lights. the lights above run about $150 USD, or at least what I have found.


Design will be open so if we come up with some good ideas and the majority of people want them then we will go with that. I'll will also post this on legacygt.com. feel free to copy and paste this into other Legacy forums at will to get more intrest.

Possibility of matching projector fogs too if there is intrest.

So basically you're looking for "morette style" headlights? With the price of factory JDM projector headlights being 100+shipping on ebay, I'm not sure this could if there's demand enough to make these worthwhile to the manufacturer.

but that is before hid retrofit. the ones above come with hid's I found a retrofit HID set of JDMS for 450 shipped.

The cheapest JDMS before retro I have found is 170 shipped

^ you do know you can just put an hid bulb in the jdm projector right? you can get life time hid kits for $40 nowdays...

granted yes the light quality of a true retrofit will be substantially better, but it will also probably be substantially better than the crappy projector that is probably in those mars headlights too, which btw look absolutely ridiculous....

All you need is the JDM headlights and a set of H4 loose sockets and ofcourse a Hid kit. Will be much cheaper than that sort of thing. And most likly more durable and better looking.

yeah I feel like thats going to be the best option now. I was just hoping to spend less then $700

it'll cost you $5 for paint...

Well i a want to do a BiZenon up grade as well I mean If it's open then do it all at once. But I am definitely buying JDMs in a week or so.

Putting an HID kit into the RHD projectors isn't the greatest idea. The cutoff is terrible and the light goes the wrong way.
