Hello all, apologies if I don't exactly use the best or correct terminology or lingo, this is actually my 2nd post on any thread.... ever. Anyhow, I've been searching around and can't seem to find any site or anything really that has any decent, quality performance parts and upgrades for a regular 2007 Subaru Legacy SE. I'm mostly interested in cold air intakes, etc. etc. Simple things that make a big difference. If anyone has any input, recommendations, links, etc. that'd be really great. Hope everyone's well and it's great to be a member of this forum. You all have a ton of exceptional advice and experience to offer.

Welcome.

Realistically speaking, there are no simple mods that are going to make a BIG difference. There really are no huge restrictions on many modern cars. Usually the biggest restriction overall is the engine management, but that is not simple or cheap to fix, esp on a non turbo model. Now that is just for engine related stuff. If you are talking about brakes or suspension or wheels/tires then yes, there are HUGE upgrades you can make over stock that will make for a considerable improvement, but I suspect you are talking mainly engine.

Yes.. guys/gals... I'm sorry. This car is my daily driver so I'd like to keep the MPG as high as possible and just do something that might make it sound a little more aggressive and maybe give me a little extra umf when I hit the gas peddle. Don't have all of the cash in the world to spend but would be willing to save. Thinking about Intake/exhaust related stuff unless you have any other recommendations. Thanks a ton for your reply. Also thinking of putting new brakes on, just to change the color since the Calipers are so exposed with the stock rims but not sure what my options are and I"m not comfortable doing it myself as I"m not completely auto savvy.

Would post pics, but it's a bone-stock silver '07 legacy.

Yes exhaust can make it sound more aggressive. If all you care about are the colors of your calipers you can paint them - the paint is only a few dollars. Even just silver or black could look nice.
