Any body got an idea as to why my brake light comes on whenever I accelerate after stopping. It then tends to stay on until I come to a stop. Been doing this since mid December last year. Thanks.

just one brake light or all?
do you have a spoiler?
could be something as simple as a bulb socket or wiring connector..

It's the brake light on the gauge cluster that is for the e brake.

There's a small switch on the bottom of the ebrake handle (accessible after you remove the surrounding center console trim). You can clean off the copper contacts & relube the plunger. That worked for me. Otherwise dealership would love to sell you a new one.
