Roof Rail Delete?

Hey guys I'm looking up some info for a good friend of mine. He's going to possibly purchase a 97 LGT sedan or wagon in HK and he wants to know if it is possible to delete the the roof rails on the wagon.

Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.

get a wagon withou em... like mine :D

but you'll need to fill the holes with bondo or something like it, sand and paint
