So currently my project is to us a ej25 with equal headers and a twin scroll turbo, but i cant seem to turn down rumble. Ive considered trying to make an uel header piped in a twin scroll design. would that work?

if not part of the build is going to a crower 280 cam, with equal length header set up from aps with a APS TSR70 .. would that cause a rumble?

This is a first. lol.

from what i have heard UEL's intensify the rumble and EL's lessen it so you would be better off with the EL since you are going for power. I assume at least.

yeah, i know what my options are, the real question is would a cammed 257 with equal length headers give a rumble

Yes you would, but not the signature subaru grumble. You'd have a sweet sounding loping idle, though.

sounds like im going APS TSR70 rotated twin scroll, with tial MV-R waste gate, and HKS ssq-v, APS 3.5 304SS exhaust. with crower 280 cams   then ill start the real work on the car

The UEL header is what gives that Subaru rumble, because the unequal seconary pipe length means the exhaust pulses are hitting each other at strange intervals and causing a bunch of flow interruptions and turbulence, which is what causes that uneven noise.

So, in short, you aren't going to get the "Subaru rumble" with an EL header because the conditions for that noise just don't exist with the EL header.

Here is what my 90 Rs Legacy BC5 sounds like with equal length headers and a TD05.

that wasnt my question if you read above i already know that. the question was would i be able to get the rumble if i build my heads and run large lobing cams with equal length headers

+1..

If you want the Subbie rumble keep the UEL..
Otherwise it's gonna be gone.

Your question has been answered pretty much in each post, why do you keep asking the same thing? No matter what you do to the heads the UEL header will give you rumble lol
