Hello all, I'm a first time Subaru owner. A 1999 Legacy Brighton.

Poor thing was in the wrong side of an argument with a big tree branch. Other than that, the car is in perfect shape. Runs great, 147k miles and I'm now the second owner.
My plan for this car is to run it in the 24 hours of Lemons racing series as the previous car I raced (not a Subaru) had a problem keeping the wheels pointed down. I really wanted to try running with AWD this time and since the Lemons races are endurance, a Subaru's reputation for reliability was very attractive.
Any cheap performance upgrades you can suggest would be more than welcome. The Lemons racing caps the spending at $500 for the car so unfortunately I don't have much room to work with.
