Springs from 04 STi into stock BD struts

Will 04 STi springs fit in the stock BD struts? I have a the STi struts and springs but one drivers side one needs replacing so I thought I would use the springs and whatever is needed for it to fit.

You'll need 03+ WRX/ STi/ SG forester top-hats

Well they do come with top hats :D

Just thinking if I should buy them...
