What were your first upgrades to your subaru?

stereo equipment from my old car then a grounding kit

jdm tails and headlights... followed by more lights...

after that i added more lights..

and then i complemented them with more lights..

i did performance before looks, i did all the cheap/easy stuff first like putting washers before the muffler, neon coil pack, home made grounding kit stuf like that, then i got cheap stuff of ebay like a air intake and underdrive crank pulleys witch is the bigest bang for the buck imo

1st was replacing the OE CD deck with my HU. amp and speakers from my old car since the OE deck was skipping.

Then the JDM headlights and tails.

Then an EL header to replace the stock cracked manifolds.

First upgrade to the 98 L was WRX wheels.
Then when I got the 95 L the first thing I transferred over were the GC8 seats that I had in the 98.

Rebuilt engine and fresher transmission for my 1991 Legacy SS.

Upgrades not part of the rebuild process:

1. Kartboy short throw shifter and bushing kit.
2. Cosmo Racing SRI / KN cone filter
3. the infamous eBay front strut brace

I guess technically the first thing I did was pull the engine to replace the head gaskets and fix all the oil leaks. But that is more maintenance/repair than upgrade.
