Tire wight limit

Hey whats the widest tire wight you can have on the front of a BD legacy?

There is not really a limit but if a car tire takes more then 2.oz
to balance then there is something wrong with the tire.

I ment like the widest you can have them on a BD to where you will still have a good turning radius and room as well.

Depends on the offset of the wheel you are running. The 225/50 16 Kumho MXs I tried rubbed on the front when I went over a bump hard at full lock. That's a tire with about 9.2" section width of that helps. It's not all that straightforward, the MXs work out to be a bigger tire than most other 225/50 16 tires out there. Plus the section width is not as extreme as you move up in wheel size. There are people running 225 width tires on 17" wheels just fine.

I'll tell you right now, it won't fit without serious modification. Very few cars can run wheels that wide.

I'm running sti wheels, which are 17x7.5 +53mm offset, with 225/50-16 tires, and even with the rear fenders trimmed, there is no more room. In fact, if I still had stock suspension, the rears would rub the struts.
