door handle INOP. looking for door panel removal info.

so...my search button has gone missing...?????...

on the wifes 97 legacy the exterior door handle on pass. front has stopped working.

i imagine some little clip or something in there has failed.

my track record with interiors is well, less than spectacular. seems every time i try to remove interior parts i break something.

looking for a DIY/info on the correct way to remove the interior door panel.


any help would be awesome. even if you have any tips or tricks, that would be great.

I don't belive it. I was about to write up an entire DIY for you when I came across this.

The only thing I would do differently is instead of popping off the switch panels I would just disconnect them from behind and leave the covers on. Less things to break.
