If ya do a search, theres examples of 2.5RS bumpers modded to fit Legacies, but I've never seen or heard of doing it the other way around. If I were you, I'd get a 2.5RS bumper or a JDM Ver1-4 bumper through JHot Importers on eBay.

i've done it, don't do it :)
i put my L bumper on my brother-in-laws impreza

unlike the impreza to legacy bumper swap where the bumper tucked under the grill and headlights

when you put a legacy bumper on an impreza there is a massive gap between the curve of the bumper and the flat front end of the impreza
