Cool car and love the wheels, what is that where the ashtray or small pocket usually is?

thanks!
I have non-perminent double stick tape holding the cd changer readout to the front of the ashray.
Below that is the jdm shifter boot/knob/ console i bought from Jhot some time ago.
I love the closable lid. BTW Can anybody verify if that is a japan only feature?

Reason

Yes the lid is a JDM only piece, I have one too (not installed yet). The one for the automatic has a credit card holder...

Anyway I didnt see that wire the first time, I was looking at this post on my phone. The cd changer fits perfect on there.

the whole system feels much better now.
I am running ABS-less. (unplugged at the control module)

Why a 6 spd transmission mount? Are you rubbing the fenders. I had the same suspension on a 215 tire and rubbed a bit.

Why a 6 spd transmission mount? Good question. I replaced the tranmission due to a worn out 2nd gear. wanted to replace the fluid soaked trans-mount as well. I called Paul Elklund at Primitive to buy a newer and hopefully stiffer mount, so its what Paul sent me. He said it was a 6 speed "STI" and it would work, so I went with that. Im not sure exactly what it is but it fit and has been installed for a couple of years.

I rubbed a bit, but I rolled the fenders so not any more. From time to time I hear the tire touch the fender liner but only when the suspension
bottoms out on big hits or tight turns. I want all the profile hight I can fit to protect my beloved wheels.

love the mountain look! Deep Sapphire Blue makes all Subarus look better :-D

Also do you shots of this "rear x-brace" you listed above?

I have only seen the 12" cusco brace.

love the mountain look! thanks! It looks that way out of neccessity, Ive driven this car
all over the Mtn states to snowboard and even deep into Mexico to ride my mountain bike. (before Mexico turned into a war zone, of course) .
I might be driving it to West Texas for a new years party right out side of Big Bend natl. Park.

Nah sorry its the 12" Cusco brace. I must have mis-named it on my listing.

I totally agree. I want to find a Legacy GT in the same color (mostly because I want a BD with a sun roof)
but I love my 2.2L

Trust me when i say this. You do not want a sunroof. Specially if your over 6 foot.

They stall, break, leak, wont return to the top position and give you a nice area to smash your head against when going over nasty bumps.

You should take a drive up to Whistler, BC or Banff, Alberta if you want to catch some serious powder :-D plus its a fun drive.

Cheers and glad to see another BD chassis on the road!

Cheers to you Chuck!

point taken on the sunroof. Now that I think of it I would much rather have a back window with the
"rare" wiper assembly. I think Ive seen a few BDs with them.

Yeah Whistler is on my List of places to go for sure. and I would love to drive the L there.

BTW I really like your rides.

Yeah I always wanted the rear wiper but the cost for the glass is redonkulous :-D

Thanks for the complements.

Enjoy yourself and keep up the good work

Yeah. the JDM tail lights make the our cars look so much better from behind.
After I installed my set, I made my friend drive my car around the block a few time while I followed in his car.
I probably wont be selling them, bt Ill keep my eyes peeled for a good deal on a set for ya'.

I did the same thing when I got the WRX twin tip exhaust installed.
