My LGT had a custom full cat back exhaust on it when I bought it about a month ago. Coupled with the SPT CAI, the Ractive muffler and the straight 2.25 in center pipe (approx.), it was way too loud....bad loud, not good loud. It was way to high pitched for me so I cut off the Ractive and welded on a muffler with an actual chamber. The exhaust now takes about two and half turns before being spit out of a piece of round pipe that was welded on. I still get a decent sound out of it but herein lies my question..... how do I get a decent Suby sound from my BE? Also, any suggestions on chrome tip pieces? Looking for something more stock than a freakin' fart can!!! Thanks!

Unequal length headers, or do you have those already?

That'll get you the sound, but you might lose power with that setup vs. stock. UEL headers are NOT ideal for power and are a downgrade from stock in that sense.

You say that like it's gonna make a noticeable difference with his 130whp motor.
