I seriously doubt it, unless it had already been retrofitted into an Impreza other than the one it came in from the factory.... Check out the lack of massive fender flares.

Naa, It's an EJ20k, from what I understand. I am going to have more info soon, I'll keep you guys posted.

I believe the chassis is a 96.

Either way, its gonna be fun ;)

whaaaaaat??? I think you is seeing things, lay off the cheeeese! Too bad you can't snag anything decent out of the interior, you may be able to dust off that Nardi wheel. Good luck with the install, pics of that thing all cleaned and polished are going to be a must! Any plans of internal work to really beef it up? details!

No interior stuff in it :( not even the wheel in the pics I dont think. Maybe.

As for beefing it up; I have an EJ22t block sitting in my computer room with a spun rod bearing. ;) as well as a 20g turbo. They won't go in for quite some time; as I want to drive the car swapped and work out the kinks of what I want, but this is definitely not the end of the project lol

That's awesome!

What year is that from? Is that a v1 or v2? I ask because from the TMIC it looks like an EJ20G to me but I could be mistaken.

Oh, I just noticed that you say you think it's a MY96. That should be an EJ20G then. They went to the EJ20K for MY97. The EJ20G is closed deck, like the EJ22T and EJ22G, so it'll take mad boost. :twisted:

Looks like a V2 intercooler.
Could be a v3 style engine, they only started painting the intakes red on v4s.
I think.

Dammit, I need to go back to NZ and check things out again.

If you want to sell the climate control out of that front clip let me know.
I got a 96 impreza, so I mite be able to make it work.

Might be an EJ20G. I got such a good deal on it, I didnt get all the info, the guy I bought it from didnt know crap. Its all compression tested and warrantied though, so no worries.

I'll probably be using that climate control in my car. I'll let you guys know, theres a bunch of stuff off this clip I won't be using and will be selling.
