Spark plug gap?

What is the stock gap for spark plugs or which ever works best for daily driving? I am guessing its around .030-.040? So spark plugs with 2 or more of those prong things are non adjustable right?

I believe it is .041-.044". .030" is too narrow unless you are boosted. (or running points)

My owners manual (98 Outback, but covers both ej22 & 25's) specifies a range from .039-.043 without differentiating between engines.
