I have recently purchased a 2003 B4 Blitzen and after a week or so of ownership I noticed that I have at least one blown speaker. I am posting this because I have no idea what size speakers I need in order to properly replace the factory set. Does anyone have any ideas on the sizes? Mine came with the Mcintosh sound system. I am probably just going to throw some similarly sized Polk audio speakers in the 5 speaker slots and leave the head unit and AMP unchanged for simplicity purposes.

my guess would be the same as a regular legacy.

6 1/2 front and rear. hope it helps
they either have to be fairly shallow in depth or you'll need .5" speaker spacers to keep them off the door's glass

Since I never heard back from you, I figured you got this fixed. Now that I'm back, I'll see what I can find out tonight after work and I'll PM you.

I have fitted Polk Momo MMC 6500 and 650's in my BE. Trimmed the doorpanel and used the spacer that comes with the speakers.
