I ran across a picture of these tail lights some time ago and have been searching to find them any where. However i havent found any, anywhere. :( They look like the Valenti Japan lights but this is for a 1st gen outback/ 2nd gen legacy.
Does anyone know where i could find them?

Custom made in Japan. The guy doesn't make them anymore.
There is a thread about these somewhere on sli.
Sorry to be a buzz kill

They do still make them. They are very expensive. You're looking a a few hundred just for corners.

Those look really good on white! I bet you could make a pretty penny redesigning a set of those.

provided you could take the cornors apart and put them back togeather with out damaging them I don't think it would be hard. Just make something to hold them together and attach it inside the light somehow...
the plastic IS amber so youd have the led's with amber signals

I tried to do that myself after seeing how much these go for. These were the result:

As you can see, if you try to use the same cover, it won't work. You need a new fabricated cover.
it shouldnt be that hard to make the outer if you have the right stuff.. make a mold and such
nice attempt btw

So is there anywhere I can order these with shipping to to the US?

I saw a number of places before this thread popped up, but it seems they are all gone now, and I can't find a place at the moment. I was planning to check Autobacs on Sunday.
