From when I was 8 years old, and Grand Turismo 3 came out for the Playstation 2, my favorite races were the rally races. I remember the cost of the Subaru WRX rally car was $300,000 (you know you remember this too). From those days of my videogaming and animated racing, I have progressed overtime to finally purchasing my 97 LGT at age 17. I had totalled my frist vehicle (a 1989 S10 pickup with a 350 SBC engine pushing 425hp at the crank, yeah thats why I totalled it, twice :smt011 ) But anyways. I purchased my LGT in Febuary '10 with the common issue of the blown headgaskets. Went all OEM parts from Subaru (wasn't cheap, over $2,000 in receipts just for the engine build), and have sitting in my garage a beautiful outcome of dedication to Subaru and countless hours of work. Oh, and 7 days till I get my license back. On photobuck I have numerous pictures of my work on the engine. LGT_KIRBY is the account name.

I am enjoying this forum thus far, and hope to be accepted into the SL-i community.

Located in Kent, WA. If anybody wants to do a Subi meet in the area lemme know!

Thanks,

Welcome to Sli.

I always enjoying seeing Deep Sapphire Blue on a BD chassis. I miss my old LGT :( .

Any way' search the forum and you will be very impressed with the amount modifications you can do to this particular chassis. You basically have a 93-01 impreza but a few inches longer :-D Skys the limit when it comes tomodifications and interchangeable parts.

Post your rebuild in the members section and get your legacy life going :-D

Oh by the way welcome to the world of CORNERS.
