So I noticed yesterday that I have no reverse lights. Fuse is good and bulbs are good. Wiring doesnt seem to be shorted or broken.
Everything that I am reading about the reverse light switch refers to a manual transmission. The part number listed in other posts (32005AA052) is specifically for the manual transmission.
Anyone know if there is another switch that controls the lights in an automatic??? All help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance!!

I will admit that I have no idea how to read a wiring diagram. :-?
So based on what you posted, what should I be looking for??? (Besides the Inhibitor Switch and the AT shift lock control module which I think are ok because I have normal starting/shifting/driving)

check the connector of the inhibitor switch, could have some gunk in it.
i'm hunting through the tranny section of it to track down how the switch actually works too.

What that wiring diagram tells you is that on the inhibitor switch on the transmission itself, the harness side of the connector (the part that plugs into the switch) should have power with the key on at pin 9 (which is a green wire with a black stripe) and that when you shift to reverse, you should have power going through the switch and out to pin 10 (which is a brown wire with a yellow stripe). If you have no power into the switch, you most likely have a wiring issue because I believe the fuse that powers that circuit powers a lot of other things as well. If you have power in but no power out, you might have a switch adjustment problem or a bad switch. If you have power in and out, then you have a wiring, bulb or socket problem. Check for power at the reverse light sockets.

When you say switch adjustment or bad switch, are you still talking about the inhibitor switch on the transmission itself???

Yes, that is the only switch in the reverse light circuit,

I am going to check it out this weekend and see if it is the issue.
I noticed a few days ago that I did have them when trying to back out of a radio shack parking lot... but I havent been able to get them to come on again...
