Just get it in right under the side of the housing and push in. There's a clip that you want to push in and it'll pop right out from there.

edit again: are we talking about side marker lights.. or on the headlights. I posted some info up for you.. but it was for side marker lights. Nevermind. Bump!

here is the info if it IS in fact side marker lights:

yeah.. it just pops out with a screw driver. I wish i had my extra set still laying around or else I would tell you how to push on it.

okay.. i found a picture of them. Looks like you push from the FRONT of the car (front of marker) to the rear of the marker and it will push in the clip on the back of the marker to get them out. Push it in.. then pull straight out.

I recommend using a screw driver w/rag over it.. or plastic pry bar.. or something so you dont screw your paint up.

It's a 3rd gen Legacy then it has the oval side makers in mid fender, not on the trim like the 2nd gen.

damn.. they let you drive around like that? must seriously decrease your visibility. Looks cool though, however, isn't that like a downgrade instead of upgrade or do you not notice the lower light output?

The Toyota guys do it all the time and their light output doesn't seem to be diminished at all. I personally like the look a lot. It looks more menacing...
