Nope if you look on ebay or where ever else that sells then they are for a 2.5rs also. Mine were from there.

hmm interesting. i just bought this, http://www.rs25.com/forums/f177/t138500 ... eader.html (http://www.rs25.com/forums/f177/t138500-brand-new-ul-borla-rep-header.html) and i placed the stock header on top of it but the borla one was 1/4" too small in length. tried to install it and it touching the oilpan and the exhaust port holes werent lining up.

Hmm that sucks. I bought mine used from rs25 and they were from a 2.5rs and they fit great! What needs to be done for them to fit or are you going to try and get another set?

I had to do a little stretching to get mine to fit. The original went off and on super easy compared to my aftermarket deal.

Mine were borla knockoff's and I tried them both on my outback and my legacy (which has a forester/2.5RS motor) and it fit both with some effort.

Mine was real close but once I got it bolted in correctly it cleared the oil pan fine. Was yours ever installed.

Mine went up no problem at all. Good space all around. I have a pic of them.

This newer generation out right now sucks. when the version 2's and 3's were just coming out they fit with no problem. The ones I have now needed to be pulled to bolt up correctly, and I noticed more people having problems. Lack of quality control.

Makes sense. I was thinking why are all these people having problems and mine fit really nice. Mine were very used though when I bought them.

My OBX header was for a 2.5RS (didn't even show legacy as an application) but it fit fine. Only thing that didn't line up was the little suport bracket back near the transmission.

yeah i had the same issue there a 4-2-1 set up and i just wedged an axe between the 2 section and spread them apart then put the stock head studs in, the bolts that came with mine had the shitties bolts and the treads didnt match. but one word of advice befor you put the whole exhaust together just run it for a few minutes on open headers, it sounds so good.

lol no header is crazy loud.
but this header is starting to become a nuisance. ive started to heat it up to properly bend it but so far its not cooperating.
