Hi, I would like to get some input about this topic. I would like to know if switching headlights from L to GT is plug and play or is it more complicated? Also what type of bulbs do the GT style headlights use for the high and low beams (9005/9006/9007)? I know that the L headlights use 9007. Thanks for the information...

Has anyone switched from L headlights to GT headlights? Are they plug and play or is additional wiring necessary? Thanks

are you talking about a switch from the two piece to the one piece?

All BE/BH Headlights are one piece, the difference between the two is the L has a single bulb for high/low beam and the GT has a seperate bulb for high and a seperate bulb for low. What I want to know is if the GT headlights are plug and play into an L sedan?
Here is a L headlight:

If your connector is white with 3 wires then most likely. Since you already know about the Dual stage bulb on the L vs the Dual bulb setup on the GT then it should be plug-n-play.

Thanks, this is the information I have been looking for... Do you know of anyone on the boards that has done this and can give first hand information about the process?

Nope not really. This sounds a little to easy IMHO.
Just unscrew the 3x 10mm bolts (1 on top two on the sides) and look for yourself.
Post a pic of your connector.
If they look kinda of like this one
