Rear Hatch Will Not Lock

Just discovered tonight my rear hatch on my wagon will not lock when using the fob. Any suggestions to fix? I was quite surprised it wasn't locking.

If you take off the trim on the inside there is a metal bar maybe 1/4" in diameter that might not be going in to the correct position. Use your FOB while looking at this and you might be able to figure something out. Mine was kind of like that at one time but could never figure out how to fix it, just kind of happened.

Anyway, can you hear the lock actuator moving when you push the fob button?
