I sent my laptop in to service the other day so i have been using my ps3 to pass the time.
A couple of rounds on COD before i go to work and at 8am the power goes out. 20 seconds later and its back on. But there's no light in the PS.

Tested the cheapest things first, fuse, socket and power cable. Still no life.

Have to order a service on it or get a new one. Might aswell get a new one, mine is a 160gb US model so it can't play my BD Movies.

It's ALIVE:)
Found out what caused the power to go out. Somehow a powersurge from Finland Reached the Norwegian side and the overcurrent fuse malfunctioned. It was only for a few minutes but the hospital had to run on their backup power for 3hours.

I guess my PS3 just went into protect for a while. I just unplugged it and when i came back from work it worked again:)
