05 Legacy ABS issues

[05 Lemon Legacy]

Anybody having or had ABS issues on the 05 era Legs??

I'm getting three ABS codes that will not clear C0101, C0102 and C0114, they are the codes for both rear sensors, and the ECU respectively. The wheel codes showed up first, then the ECU code after I cleaned the harness connector. I have no engine codes at all, and am getting sick of not having use of my cruise....The sensors look fine, didn't see any broken or disturbed wiring, removed the ECU harness connector and cleaned with contact cleaner and re-installed...tried to reset the ECU by pulling the negative on the battery, codes come right back as soon as the engine is started.

Is there any way to reset the ABS ECU other than pulling the negative battery terminal for ~30 minutes or so?

Could pads cause this problem?

Will the AT ECU work on an MT car?? (Probably not because of traction control through tranny??)

I'm not ready to start dropping wads of cash on the sensors and ECU right now without knowing all three are bad and it seems odd they should all crap out at once.

Car has 69k on it and has not been abused.

Wheel speed sensors can fail without looking bad. To properly test it, you would need labscope, but if you have a volt meter, you can hook it up to the speed sensor with the meter set to AC volts and monitor the voltage output with the wheel spinning.

or you could just go the easy route and disable the ABS by pulling the fuse perhaps till you can afford to get it fixed / fix it yourself?

My cousin just recently encounter these ABS codes and it's making us confused what's causing it. First thought we had is that the abs speed sensor (http://www.car-stuff.com/absspeedsensor.htm) is probably failing or some of the wiring may have worn-out. Somehow when we check it, it looks fine. But your post is quite interesting, I'm gonna let my cousin try this test you mentioned. Anyway, thanks for the tip and hoping we could already resolve this issue.
