As the topic states I am nearing the 100k mark and wondering if it is time for the timing belt and all that. Is it better to buy what I need and take it to a shop and have them do it or us there parts? Also, is there a kit that would have everything like the belt the water pump ect?

100k then yes. it's time if it has never been replaced before.
yes it would be better to buy (OEM PARTS) what you need if the shop wasn't planning on using oem.
I'm not sure about a kit with everything you need since I've never really searched (I bet somebody will chime in on that though)
cam, crank seals and resealing the backing plate on the oil pump would be a good idea while they're in there.
