Oregon Beach cruise * PICS*

Hey, just got word about the subaru cruise down to seaside in oregon. Wanna try and get as many leggys as possible, usually only see wrx and sti show up. its the 28th around 10 am in bridgport and drive is out to seaside. Hoping to see more wagons there

what time is the cruse leaving? i am coming from the eastern gorge, so it is about 2 hours for me to get there.

the cars r rolling out at 10, but people are going to start meeting up around 9, hang out till about 10ish then roll out

Well I guess we are meeting at Bridgeport which is I-5 then heading up three te industrial area on hwy 30 then cutting threw some road off of 30 that connects to 26 outside seaside

after reading and seeing the video of what happened on the subaru meet that just happened in washington with the accident i am wondering if people are going to drive better, and actually be safe. so i am debating going.

ya, i heard about that, but the guy running this thing has a pretty strict policy, anyone that drives retarded hes gonna call the cops. We dont want anyone to get hurt or cars to get messed up. Its not a race, just a nice drive with nice cars. Imma still go

i am still going to the beach, where is everyone meeting up at in seaside? the weather reports are saying chance of rain from tomarrow, through tuesday, so crappy driving weather.

I'm not sure where at seaside everyone is meeting, but I do know it gonna be close to the main road on seaside cuz the add said people can either eat with the cars or walk to the restaurants an shops

the high school is Seaside High School. i will be coming, but i will be leaving later (around 10am from vancouver) in the morning and taking 26 to the coast. i really dont like 2 lane highways, i know some of 26 is but i guess i am kind of a p***y but seeing too many head on crashes caused by 2 lane roads, no thanks. but if i time it right i will probably get there about the same time as you guys.

they post it in facebook, 28 people are going so far plus people saw the post on craigslist and nasioc, so im imagine more than 30 are going..

Well, only 2 legacy wagons showed up. Not the turnout I expected but it was still fun showing the wrx and sti that a 97 GT could keep up three the corners

yeah that trip was fun, somewhere between spinning cookies in the sand and hitting that small ditch of sand by the entrance and exit, and back down by the high school i started hearing a mettle clanging, pulled into the outlet center parking lot and thought i was starting to have a rod go on me, scared the crap out of me, turns out that there is a little piece of metal over the transmission, where the torque converter is that got bent and i think was making contact with the tranny, a little bit of pushing on it with the lug wrench fixed the sound at least.
